Loved your article.

I think every photographer can relate to some/all of recognize the following.

1. If I had this or that lens now the current lack of light wouldn't be a problem.

2. If my gear would allow me to get up just a few centimeter closer I could get that awesome macroshot.

3. If the burst mode on my camera was a bit faster I would have caught that exact moment.

4. If my angle was just a few degrees wider..

And so on...

We often forget that in 9/10 situations our gear was just fine. Also, just to get that few percent extra speed/sensitivity/angle you pay a lot more.

We tend to 'focus' on what we lack. And not what we have. I think that's the main point of your article and totally agree with that.
