This is completely new information to me:
“Fischer says the protein comparison “cuts in favor of eating insects directly rather than eating plants if you’re just looking at a per-gram insect mortality rate.”
I always mention the aspect that vegan food never is completely vegan. There is always harm done. And there are all kind of practices (for example the type of mowing, harvesting, pesticide use) that can be done in a very harmful way or in far less harmful way.
And that those practices are seldom mentioned. Or even thought about.
Great article.
I feed my dogs insect kibble by the way. They thrive on it. I am vegan myself except for honey that suppports transforming dead lands to insect friendly lands.
